Her journey spans from the intensity of professional kitchens to the serenity of designing food that heals — a path that beautifully reflects her evolution as a chef, food designer, nutritionist, and nurturer of wellbeing.
Mara believes that food is far more than sustenance — it is energy, medicine, and a reflection of how we care for ourselves. Every plate she creates tells a story of balance, harmony, and the art of conscious living.
At MARA — The House of Conscious Living, the focus is on real food — thoughtfully sourced, prepared with integrity, and infused with love. Each ingredient is chosen for its purity and purpose. Meals are cooked using coconut oil, ghee, grass-fed butter, and other natural fats, honouring both nourishment and flavours.

Mara understands the importance of individuality. No two people are the same — and neither are their nutritional needs. She designs each dish to suit individual requirements, whether for wellness, allergies, or lifestyle choices. Her deep knowledge of food sensitivities, intolerances, and therapeutic diets ensures that every guest feels safe, cared for, and understood.
As the founder of the first gluten-free, celiac-safe café, restaurant, and bakery in Southeast Asia, located in Ubud, Bali, Mara has redefined the dining experience for conscious eaters. Her brand, Mara’s Gluten-Free Kitchen, has become a sanctuary for those seeking not just delicious food, but food that Honors health, integrity, and inclusivity.
Beyond Bali, Mara has designed and developed restaurant and café concepts across different countries, bringing her philosophy of conscious eating, holistic design, and mindful hospitality to a global audience.
